Mirko Demozzi

Bio

I was born and raised in Trento, in Monte Bondone, where I developed my passion for the mountains and for all its natural features, with a special interest in geology. I then moved for a few years in Ferrara where in 1997 I obtained a degree in Geological Sciences. Now my passion for the mountains has become my job as professional geologist since 2001 and Medium-Range Mountain Guide (AMM) since 2008.

As AMM I organize trekking for single individuals or small groups (including schools) to discover the geological history and geomorphology of the Trentino mountains: from the western to the eastern Dolomites. Fascinating excursions on a journey through time to visit ancient volcanoes or coral reefs that formed the bedrock of the famous Dolomites.

I also organize trips aimed at visiting the Great War remains (1915-1918) that are scattered throughout the Trentino along the old front line of the war in and around the City of Trento (Trento the famous fortified belt).
