A pleasant hike that climbs through dense forests of fir, the kingdom of lynx and deer. We will introduce you into the elements of the winter mountains, discovering animal footpaths and mountain tales where the wise man’s hands have built walking paths and trails that lead at high altitude. Through the fir woods to discover animal tracks, off the ski runs to enjoy the feeling of walking in the mountains in winter. Snowshoeing is easy and requires no special skills just a little will for walking. The refuge La Montanara is located in a beautiful scenic spot overlooking the Seghe Valley, at the foothills of the Croz Altissimo and in front of the Brenta Dolomites, heritage of humanity.

Detailed plan

We meet at 9:30 am at the mountain guides’ chalet, at the climbing wall in the center of Andalo (in front of the riding center). The experience will last all day. We will provide snowshoes and poles.

This experience and is suited to all people that like walking, while children must be at least 12 years old.
