Description

Walking surrounded by snow and forests, with only the moonlight or a LED lamp. The night snowshoes hike is a must experience to live in the mountains in winter.

From the pass Lavazè (1800m), snowshoes on feet, poles and front light, we start walking in an untouched mountain environment. Large clearings and snow-covered forests with spectacular panorama of the Catinaccio and Latemar.

Through a simple path of few kilometres, suitable for all, we will reach the Malga Varena. Here we will taste the typical products of the Trentino cuisine.

A beautiful hike with snowshoes with dinner, in a typical mountain atmosphere.

Detailed plan

At 6pm, meeting in Cavalese to the Congress Centre – APT Office with the Alpine Guides.
6:30pm transfer independently to Lavazè, equipment distribution, and then begin the hike.
8pm, arrival at Varena hut where we will be welcomed in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
10pm return to Cavalese.

The equipment, the accompaniment of a mountain guide and dinner at the refuge are included in the price. The route is subject to change depending on weather conditions and snow.
